Parenting is one of the most special and intense experiences, and at the same time it can be accompanied by feelings of stress, fatigue and overwhelm.

There may be challenges in the parenting or family situation itself. Or there may be times when the daily busyness demands too much of you to stay fully consciously present in the here and now.

Mindful parenting helps with this.

The mindful parenting training

Grouptraining

The training takes place in 8 weekly group meetings of 2 hours and a follow up practice day. You can register for these further down this page.

This includes:

  • An intake interview with both parents
  • The training consisting of 8 sessions of 2 hours
  • A follow-up practice day (part)
  • Access to meditations
  • A workbook with information and homework

Individual / Duo

Sometimes you prefer to follow the training individually or together with the other parent or there are circumstances that make individual work more appropriate. We can go deeper into your personal themes during the meetings (8x an hour). An additional advantage is that we can fit the training into your schedule.

Collaborations

As a school or healthcare organization you can collaborate with me. Think of offering the training within your organization, referring parents to the training or making them aware of the existence of the training. Together we look at what is possible.

Working with Nathalie

Educator, mentor and behavioral scientist

I am Nathalie (1978) mother of two teenagers, a certified mindfulness trainer, graduated in Social and Behavioral sciences and I am a certified cognitive behavioral therapist. For over 20 years I have worked in (mental) health care and education as a behavioral scientist, school psychologist and family therapist.
For the training mindful parenting I was trained by Prof. S. Bögels. She developed the method and researched its effectiveness at the University of Amsterdam.

Peace, self-care, nature and compassion are important components of the work I do. Mindfulness and mindful parenting align beautiful with this. These scientifically proven methods offer a solid way to be more mindful in life with a gentle, non-judgmental perspective and acceptance. By practicing this, learning about recognizing fixed patterns and the effect of stress while also training attention and focus, you can make this way of life your own. 

Very down to earth and practical.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where and when does the training take place?

Individual registrations for the group trainings can be done through the registration button of the available training date. There you can also read where the workshop will take place.

For individual / duo trainings and for collaborations with schools or other organizations, this will be decided by mutual agreement.

What are the prices?

If you sign up for a group training you pay the price that is stated with the training. Usually this is €550 incl. VAT. Partners (co-parents) can participate for a reduction of 50%.

An individual program costs €958 (incl. VAT).
A duo program (both parents/co-parents) will be €600 p.p. (incl. VAT).
